Sexual Offences (serious)

If you are charged with:

  • Rape, i.e. Sexual Penetration without Consent
  • Indecent Assault/Dealing/Acts
  • Importation or Possession of Pornographic Material
  • Sexual Offences Against Children, i.e. Person Under the Age of 18 Years

You have the right to remain silent apart from giving your correct name and address and you can request a telephone call which can be made to your lawyer.

Some sexual assault allegations may be made at a much later date than the alleged incident and if you are charged and convicted with a sexual assault offence the penalties can be severe.
